"Change involves carrying out an activity against the habit of life."

The Pastor's Perspective
A part of our faithfulness to God is living the
way He desires us to live. However, how can we be faithful to God
when we fail Him? According to Proverbs 24:16, a part of our
faithfulness to God is to keep on serving Him after we fail Him. We
repent of our sin and re-commit ourselves to the Lord's service.
The Bible is full of "second-chancers" who got back up after they
fell down spiritually. Two of the most prominent are King David who
committed adultery and then murder to try to cover up his adultery.
The other was the apostle Peter who denied Jesus 3 times. Don't let
your failure defeat you spiritually. Don't let Satan use it to
discourage you and make you think God doesn't love you or won't
forgive you. Learn from your failure. Get back up and keep on
serving God. That's what a righteous person does.
Blessings, Dennis
