"Change involves carrying out an activity against the habit of life."

The Pastor's Perspective
The Scripture says about itself that it is living and active
(Hebrews 4:12). The Bible is all about God's life-changing message to us.
The Word of God will work in our lives if we allow it. Someone once said
that 'other books were written for our information, but the Bible was
written for our transformation.' That's the way to approach Bible Study.
When reading the Bible, do so prayerfully. Remind yourself that the Bible
is speaking to you and talking about you. Ask yourself, 'is there a
principle that I need to believe?; is there a command that I need to obey?
is there something I need to confess to God? is there something I can praise
God for? is there an act of service that God wants me to perform?'; ask
yourself things like this as you read your Bible and as you act on these
things, the Bible will come alive and do its work in your life.
Blessings,
Dennis
